Absent Student Assistance Program
The Absent Student Assistance Program is a contract-funded initiative paid for by participating school districts whereby Precinct 6 deputies work collaboratively with teachers, school administrators and parents to help keep students in the classroom. The program goal is to identify and resolve issues directly related to individual cases of truancy. The program began in 1991 and continues to have a positive impact upon our youth.
